Lucy Lindner BA

Welcome to my website. I am UK based artist, specialising in portraiture and landscapes, using a variety of paint mediums.

About

I live in Steyning, near the south coast of England with my partner and two children. I have been an artist for over twenty years and my paintings have found homes around the globe.

I studied for my degree in Painting and Printmaking at Sheffield Hallam University, which included an exchange placement at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver. My degree show was chosen to be part of an emerging artists exhibition called New Territories held in The Arches in Glasgow.

About

I live in Brighton with my partner and two children, within walking distance of both the Sussex Downs and the sea, which are both important sources of inspiration to my work. I have been an artist for over twenty years and my commissions have found homes around the globe.

I lived and painted in Paris for four years and was fortunate enough to have a studio in Montmartre where I could concentrate on my craft to the extent that I was able to exhibit in both group and solo shows. I was subsequently Artist in Residence at the Kiosko Galeria in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

If you were looking to find themes in my work, they would circle around my fascination of trying to record the slipperiness of ‘reality’ and the passage of time.
